EKIP® EUROPE is a conceptual ready-to-wear fashion label rooted in the shared immigrant experience in Europe.

The label explores the tension between preserving one’s identity and the pressure to assimilate, while celebrating the sense of community that emerges when people with shared experiences find one another.

Founded in 2024 by Akif Akgün, EKIP® EUROPE was soon joined by co-founder Esat Cesur. The two creative collaborators arrived in Norway from Turkey in 2019. The name EKIP comes from the founders’ native language and translates as “team” or “crew” – a word that reflects the label’s core value: community.

Index is a cultural platform and living archive dedicated to contemporary creative expression rooted in Norway. It documents artists, designers, musicians, and cultural organisers whose work reflects, challenges, and expands the language of Norwegian culture.

By indexing source material ranging from established cultural references to emerging underground scenes, Index seeks to map the ideas shaping contemporary Norwegian identity. It exists to preserve context, foster connections, and contribute to the continued evolution of culture.

The full program will be announced soon, follow @munch_ung on Instagram for teasers and updates.
