Come and experience the world's largest collection of Edvard Munch's art, and get up close to world-famous motifs, such as "The Scream", "Madonna" and "The Sun" and many more.
Take the opportunity to visit our temporary exhibitions:
Edvard Munch and the Chocolate Factory on the 9th floor, where you can see, among other things, the 12 large paintings that usually hang in the canteen at Freia.
Edvard Munch – Connect the Lines on the 10th floor is an interactive exhibition where you can draw on an iPad. Your drawing is then matched with one of Munch's approximately 7,000 drawings from the museum's large collection.
Oslo Culture Night is Norway's largest one-day festival with events throughout the city. It is an annual opportunity to get to know the cultural life in Oslo - completely free. Organized by the Department of Culture, Oslo Municipality in collaboration with the city's cultural institutions, organizations, artists, artists and businesses.
