Gjenfødt Kultur concerts are so much more than greatest hits packages – they're an organic, unpredictable universe all to themselves.
The Norwegian underground collective – described by NRK P3 as one of Norway's best rap outfits – are taking up residence at MUNCH, bringing their infectious vibes and unflagging energy. Over two days they'll be performing no less than three concerts, including one especially for their under-18 year old fans.
Since their first album Koloritt (2021) the band have developed a powerful visual language and distinctive graphic identity. Their music, merch, video and scenography draw inspiration from film and popular culture, and have a homemade, honest and unmistakeable quality.
From their spellbinding performances at Øya Festival in 2023, 2024 and 2026, to packing out large venues like Parkteateret and Rockefeller, to their appearance on the TV programme NRK-Scenen, Gjenfødt Kultur have steadily built a huge and loyal following.
Gjenfødt Kultur's latest album PBIK IV from 2026 (Plukk Blomster, Ikke Kamper, or 'Pick Flowers, Not Fights') is buzzing with soulful, funky, sample-delic instrumentals, thought-provoking lyrics rooted in everyday struggles, love and emotions that have shaped different aspects of the lives of band members Hani, Endre and Amin.
For their MUNCH takeover, the band will be coming up with a completely new show, created especially for the museum. Exactly what that will be, they’re keeping close to their chest. But it seems that some of Edvard Munch's most famous motifs will be involved.
