For Edvard Munch, drawing was an immediate way of exploring and expressing his own experiences of the world. We want today's children and young people to discover the same.
In autumn 2026, we’ll be offering a wide range of drawing events and workshops, with no requirement for preparation or prior knowledge. The initiative is inspired by Edvard Munch’s own curious and experimental approach to drawing.
The programme has been developed in collaboration with artists, and participants are invited to draw both on their own and together with others. We will offer a wide range of materials, techniques and formats, and create an environment that encourages curiosity and creative freedom. There are no right or wrong answers, just plenty of opportunities to explore at your own pace.
