As the leading expert on Edvard Munch's work, MUNCH has extensive international collaborations and museum partnerships. Our vast collection is lent out to museums worldwide, with a special emphasis on partnerships that highlight new perspectives on Munch and enables us to reach new audiences. 

In 2026, MUNCH has partnered on three duo exhibitions which place Edvard Munch’s work in dialogue with the artists Paula Modersohn-Becker, Maria Lassnig, and Pablo Picasso, in addition to loans to other institutions. An upcoming highlight is our extensive collaboration with Tate Modern on an exhibition that explores Munch’s work through the lens of cinema and visual storytelling, opening in November 2027.
