Open studioworkshop
Note: Space is limited, so it’s a good idea to arrive early. First come, first served!
Drop-in; tickets can be collected at the counter upon arrival. Free admission for everyone up to 25 years old.
This is part of our UNG program, a free art and culture offering for young people!
We invite participants to explore our open studio as an atelier. The studio will choose one medium to focus on each month and will provide materials and space for you to explore on your own. The studio will only have someone present to let you in and assist with basic needs, but there won’t be anyone available to guide or instruct. It’s set up to focus on independent exploration.
On September 26th we will be exploring sculpting as a medium.
On October 24th we will explore painting as a medium.
In addition to being a space for reflection and artistic discovery, the workshops function as an open studio – a low-threshold, inclusive space for young creatives who may not otherwise have access to studios, workshop facilities or professional equipment. Whether you’re just starting out or already working with art, design or music, this is a place to experiment, grow and learn from others.
