Intuitive PeoplePop-up Concert

Intuitive People is a collective from the Improvisation-Based Contemporary Music course at NMH (Norwegian Academy of Music), led by experimental musicians/composers Rolf-Erik Nystrøm and Håkon Thelin. Over the course of a Saturday afternoon, Nystrøm, Thelin and their students create sonic dialogues with the artworks in Edvard Munchs Monumental exhibition.
Visitors to the museum on this date can experience spontaneous music making among the artworks, as the musicians form smaller groups, or perform solo. Their improvisations bring the paintings to life, sculpting the mood in the room through a reflective and instinctive approach to sound.
Discover a free-spirited intervention in the museum's everyday life, using Edvard Munch's art as a sonic canvas.
This event is free to the museum ticket holders.
