Children's Art Day at MUNCH is an event series that offers playful tours, creative workshop activities and inspiring experiences on children's terms. This Sunday, we invite you to a fun meeting with Paula Rego's imaginative art!
Story telling with Hanna Asefaw
Paula Rego drew inspiration from fairy tales and stories, and she created art that explored different themes in both a fun and serious way. Come and hear performing artist Hanna Asefaw tell fairy tales in the exhibition Paula Rego: Dance Among Thorns.
You can meet Hanna in the exhibition Paula Rego: Dance Among Thorns at 11:30, 12:30, 13:30 and 14:30. The storytelling session lasts approximately 10 minutes and is included in the regular entrance ticket or your membership. Space in the exhibition hall is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Drop-in puppet workshop with Ella Honeyman-Novotny
In the museum's workshop, you can make your own puppet inspired by Paula Rego's fabulous dolls. The workshop is led by puppet maker Ella Honeyman-Novotny.
The workshop is open between 10:00 -12:00 and 13:00 -15:30 on the third floor, entrance next to the café in the Lobby. The workshop is included in the regular entrance ticket or your membership and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
