On December 12, it is 160 years since Norway's greatest artist was born, and it will be celebrated! It is a pleasure to invite you to free entry all day so that everyone can experience Edvard Munch's unique and fascinating art

The cafe is decorated for Christmas, and the shop is full of goodies. Bring your family and friends to a birthday celebration in the run-up to Christmas! 

There will be a great programme with celebrated guests in Festsalen. You will experience screenings of the blockbuster film "Munch", with director Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken and all four actors present, and a conversation with the author of the new critically acclaimed Munch biography "STORMEN", Ivo de Figueiredo, followed by a book signing.
