Winter at MUNCH

MUNCH is open every day throughout the winter – bring the family and explore 13 floors of art and experiences. Admission is free for everyone under 18.

Last chance

Don’t miss the largest presentation of Ludvig Karsten in over a century. Discover iconic works alongside rarely exhibited paintings from private collections – art you almost never get the opportunity to see.

MUNCH is home to the world’s largest collection of Edvard Munch. Across our five collection exhibitions, you can explore everything from celebrated masterpieces to lesser-known favourites. You can also encounter more than 20 contemporary artists in the MUNCH Triennale, where the boundaries between the real and the virtual are challenged.

Savour MUNCH

Take a break at MUNCH kafé, open daily throughout the winter. Enjoy freshly baked sourdough from our in-house bakery, croissants made from scratch, signature cakes crafted with Norwegian ingredients, and simple hot dishes.

Looking to treat yourself? Visit MUNCH restaurant on the 12th floor for a lunch inspired by continental classics and nostalgic flavours – all served with spectacular views of the city.
