Welcome to Late Night at MUNCH. We are transforming the lobby into a club, as DJ PIIKSI takes over the evening.
We’re celebrating the opening of the SOLO OSLO: Kim Hankyul. Kim Hankyul is celebrated for his moving installations. At MUNCH, he unveils his most ambitious work yet: a more than five-metre-high immersive installation suspended from the ceiling.
All exhibitions at MUNCH are open throughout the evening.
There will be engaging activities taking place throughout the museum: join a art mediation in Infinite and Monumental, and explore a dedicated Creative Corner curated by MUNCH Ung, until 22:00. A creative workshop where you can make your own mini-fanzine and transform it into a unique charm for your key ring or bag.
When the galleries close, the night continues with an afterparty (ID 20+) at MUNCH Bar & Restaurant on the 12th and 13th floor. Enjoy the city’s best views as DJ hanneks takes over from 22:30. The party runs until 03:00 (last serving at 02:30).
This edition of Late Night is presented in collaboration with KOSO Club, which has strengthened Oslo’s club scene by creating space for femme and queer artists and DJs. Since 2013 Koso Club has hosted more than 70 local and international DJs, with a large majority being women or non-binary artists. Resident DJs Soldal, Piiksi and Hanneks keep things bubbling with an eclectic mix spanning bass, riddim, techno, deconstructed club and jersey club to ballroom and UK funky.
